Taking the Lord’s Supper is just about the most “Christian” thing one can do. How is it, then, we understand its importance so poorly? This passage shows us that because the Lord’s Supper marks us out as one, it must be directed toward oneness. And that fact says a lot about who, what, and how.

In our final message of this series, we examine what Paul means when he writes, “I do not permit a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man….” It’s a hard saying in 2018! But as we dig into Paul’s reasoning we find that creation order has implications for the relationship between men and women in church. And that’s good news! It means what was lost in Eden can be regained.

Having set the foundations for ourn understanding of “Sex, Gender, & the Gospel,” we begin to look at some passages from the New Testament that are sometimes controversial. In this message, we look at a passage describing the relationship between a husband and a wife in a Christian marriage. There we see that the distinct roles in a Christian marriage are a witness to Christ’s work for his Church.
